'Emergency’ Not To Release On November 24, Kangana Ranaut Makes “Important Announcement”
Kangana Ranaut revealed that her new Hindi movie 'Emergency' will not be releasing on November 24, and explained the reasoning behind that decision.
Fans who were eager to see Kangana Ranaut playing the role of India’s first female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the new Hindi movie ’Emergency’ will have to wait a little longer. Making an “important announcement” through social media platforms, Kangana Ranaut revealed that the new Hindi movie will not release on its previous scheduled date of November 24. The new Hindi movie ‘Emergency’ will now be releasing in 2024 – there was no mention of the exact date by Kangana Ranaut.
“I have an important announcement to make, Emergency movie is the culmination of my entire life’s learnings and earnings as an artist. Emergency is not just a film for me it’s a test of my worth and character as an individual,” wrote Kangana Ranaut.
“Tremendous response that our teaser and other units got from everyone encouraged us all. My heart is full of gratitude and wherever I go people ask me about Emergency’s release date.”
“We have announced Emergency release date as 24th November 2023 but because of all the changes in my back to back releasing films calendar and over packed last quarter of 2024 we have decided to shift Emergency to next year (2024).
New release date will be announced soon, please bear with us, your anticipation, curiosity and excitement for the film means a lot,” she added.

There were murmurs already going around that Kangana Ranaut, who will be making her solo directorial debut with ‘Emergency’, was set to push the release date back around the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
While addressing these claims, Kangana Ranaut had said, “The film will be released but I am not sure if it will be released around elections. It has nothing to do with elections and any political party also.”
Now, it remains to be seen whether the new Hindi movie does release near-about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
