Kareena Kapoor Khan will be making her OTT debut later this month with Sujoy Ghosh's 'Jaane Jaan'. The new Hindi movie, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma, will be releasing on Netflix on September 21, which happens to be the birthday of Kareena Kapoor. In the latest entertainment news, Kareena Kapoor has revealed the advice she received from her husband Saif Ali Khan before signing 'Jaane Jaan'. She also said that her co-stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat kept her on alert and on her toes.

“Saif had already told me ‘Listen, it’s not like van se make up laga ke nikalogi aur set pe dialogue bologi. Stop this attitude. You are working with Jaideep and Vijay, be prepared. They would be improvising and all so you better be on your toes. It’s not like a picnic’. He warned me. So I was a little more [cautious] like a student who’s more alert. Saif was like ‘stop being a backbencher, aage aake kuch karo’," said Kareena Kapoor.

"I was constantly watching them. I know that Jaideep is so prepared, so composed, like his character. Vijay, I realised, is a bit like me. He may be laughing around on the set but [when it comes to work] every take is so different from another. But it’s very thought off.. like what is he going to say," she added.

The 'Jaane Jaan' trailer was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon. At the trailer launch event, Kareena Kapoor said that she is more nervous than she was 20 years ago when she made her film debut with 'Refugee' alongside Abhishek Bachchan.

“It all happened thanks to Jayu (co-producer Jay Shewakramani), who has made the film along with Akshai Puri. He had this idea during Bhoot Police of why don’t we make this film. We were shooting in Dharamshala and I was pregnant with Jeh then. Everything just came together. He came back saying Sujoy is very excited and he has been with the script for so long,” said Kareena.

At the 'Jaane Jaan' trailer launch event, Kareena Kapoor also said that she gets angry when people just remember her for her roles in 'Jab We Met' and 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. For the unversed, in these movies, Kareena had played the roles of Geet and Poo, respectively.

"I’ve done quite a few intense roles but you all remember only Poo and Geet. I feel very angry about it. Like, Omkara was also intense," said Kareena.
