Kartik Aaryan To Star In Kabir Khan’s Film, Release Date And Title Revealed
Kartik Aaryan will reunite with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for a new Hindi movie, ‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan.
Kartik Aaryan, who has established himself as one of the most bankable Bollywood actors, is currently basking in the success of his latest release ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ co-starring Kiara Advani. He has also been ruling our social media feeds with several photos and videos of him from the promotional activities for his new Hindi movie. Amid the buzz around ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’, Kartik Aaryan has spilled the beans about his next Bollywood film, for which he is reuniting with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
Taking to Instagram, Kartik Aaryan revealed the release date and title of his new Hindi movie, set to be directed by Kabir Khan of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘83’ fame. The new Hindi movie, which reunites Kartik with Sajid Nadiadwala after ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’, is titled ‘Chandu Champion’ and will release on June 14, 2024.

‘Chandu Champion’ billed as the true story of a man who refused to surrender marks Kartik Aaryan's maiden collaboration with Kabir Khan and his reunion with Sajid Nadiadwala, who's producing the sports drama. It will serve as yet another Eid release for Kartik Aaryan as Eid-al-Adha will fall on June 16, 2024.
Kabir Khan made his Bollywood debut with ‘Kabul Express’ (2006), a film set in Afghanistan, starring John Abraham and Arshad Warsi. He then went on to direct movies like ‘New York’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Phantom’ and ‘Tubelight’.
The director also made his digital debut with the web series ‘The Forgotten Army’, starring Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari on Amazon Prime Video. Kabir Khan's last release was the period sports drama ‘83’ in 2021.
‘83’, based on Indian cricket team's victory in the 1983 World Cup, starred Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev and Deepika Padukone as his wife Romi Dev among others.
Coming back to Kartik Aaryan, he has been basking in the success of ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it also stars Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Shikha Talsania, Anuradha Patel and Rajpalm Yadav among others.
The new Hindi movie released on June 29 and has made Rs 46.91 crore till now.
