For the unversed, Sara’s reference was to Aditya Roy Kapur’s Hindi web series on Disney+ Hotstar called ‘Night Manager’.
Aditya Roy Kapur plays the role of Shantanu Sengupta, a ‘night manager’ at a swanky hotel.
Karan Johar then addresses Ananya Panday and asks her "How have you been managing your nights, a bit Gumraah in love?"
To this, the 'Dream Girl 2' actress replied, "Aashiqui aisi he hoti hai, but stop talking."
Both Karan’s question and Ananya’s reply make reference to Aditya Roy Kapur’s Bollywood films.
