Actress Kriti Kharbanda recently recalled a "scary" incident about discovering a hidden camera in her hotel room. She said that she and her team have a habit of checking for such things, and it was because of that, that they were able to find the camera. Speaking about the incident, Kriti Kharbanda said that whoever put the camera in place, was not that skilled enough because of how the item was positioned. Kriti Kharbanda made this shocking revelation during a recent interaction with Hauterrfly.
While speaking to Hauterrfly, the actress said, "There was this one incident which I remember when I was shooting for one of my Kannada films. This boy, who used to work at the hotel, actually left a camera in my room. Me and my staff have this habit of checking around to make sure nothing is popping out from anywhere."
"He was obviously not a pro because it was kept so badly. I could see it; he had kept it behind the set-top box. It is scary, the kind of stuff you have to be careful about," she added.
This is not the first time that a celebrity has opened up about such an incident.
Earlier, Dia Mirza had spoken about taking precautions before checking into hotel rooms. While speaking to ETimes, the actress said that she became very careful after videos of actresses taking baths started being circulated on the internet.
Anushka Sharma had also expressed anger when a video from her husband Virat Kohli's hotel room in Australia was leaked online. The incident had happened during the T20 World Cup last year.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Anushka Sharma had written, “Anyone who sees this and thinks celebrity ho toh deal Karna padega should know that you are also part of the problem. Exercising some self-control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom then where is the line?”
Coming back to Kriti Kharbanda, she has starred in several Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. The actress has featured in films such as ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Pagalpanti’.
Kriti Kharbanda has also shared screen space with her boyfriend Pulkit Samrat. The two co-starred in the 2018 film ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’. They also shared screen space in the comedy film ‘Pagalpanti’, which released in 2019.
Kriti Kharbanda worked with Pulkit Samrat in Bejoy Nambiar's ‘Taish’ as well, which also featured Harshvardhan Rane, Jim Sarbh, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Abhimanyu Singh.
The Indian actress was last seen in ‘14 Phere’, co-starring Vikrant Massey.
