Kriti Sanon showcased her intense avatar in the first look video of her character from Aanand L Rai’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’.
Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, who delivered two hits in the form of ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ and ‘Crew’ in 2024, is all set to step into a new dimension of storytelling with her upcoming film ‘Tere Ishk Mein’. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the romantic drama will co-star Kriti Sanon with South superstar Dhanush. The upcoming film will mark yet another exciting collaboration between Dhanush and Aanand L Rai, following the success of ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.
Dhanush recently unveiled a gripping first look video featuring Kriti Sanon as Mukti, a character who already promises layers of emotional depth and intensity.

In the video, Kriti Sanon’s character Mukti walked resolutely through a riot, with a kerosene bottle in hand, delivering a hauntingly powerful monologue in Hindi. Her words pierced through themes of unreciprocated love, fear, and inner conflict.
As the clip concluded, Mukti shocked viewers by pouring kerosene on herself and lighting a cigarette.
Soon after Dhanush shared the first look video online, several social media users reacted to it. “Can’t wait for this,” one user commented.
Another user said, “KRITI AND D THE COLLAB YOU ALL.”
A third one commented, “I love the way you are picking up intense and more layered roles.”
Produced by Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ will feature a soul-stirring soundtrack composed by A.R. Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
The film will reportedly delve into unrequited love, longing, and emotional upheaval, establishing itself as a spiritual successor to the world of ‘Raanjhanaa’.
Scheduled to hit theatres on November 28, 2025, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ will release in both Hindi and Tamil.
‘Raanjhanaa’, directed by Aanand L Rai, released in theatres on June 21 2013. The film starred Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. Apart from Dhanush and Sonam, it starred Abhay Deol, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Swara Bhasker. It marked the Hindi film debut for Dhanush.
