Get ready for an intense thriller! Kajol and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Do Patti' has finally gotten a release date, and it will soon start streaming on Netflix. In the latest entertainment news, Netflix on Monday released a quirky video, announcing the release date for the film. The makers also offered a sneak peek into the characters. Kajol displayed her never-before-seen look as a police officer, while Kriti Sanon hinted at a dual role.
The movie opens with Kajol, playing a cop, entering a cafeteria and spotting Kriti Sanon, who appears to be on the run. The two then share some playful banter while teasing the film’s release date.
Sharing the video, Netflix wrote, “Ab hoga Khel shuru, lekin iss kahaani ke hai do pehlu. Do patti releases on 25 October, only on Netflix.”

For the unversed, the film has been written by Kanika Dhillon. It is directed by Shashank Chaturvedi. Kanila Dhillon is also the co-producer of the film along with Kriti Sanon’s production banner, Blue Butterfly Films.
The upcoming Hindi film is set to transport audiences to the mesmerising and mysterious hills of North India, which serves as a backdrop for this vivid edge-of-the-seat thriller to unfold.

“The film brings female power to the fore and promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience… with twists and turns that will surprise and thrill you. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of North India's hills, Do Patti invites viewers into a unique world of intrigue and thrill, as conflicting moralities of riveting characters play games with each other. We're ecstatic to present this compelling tale to audiences worldwide, exclusively on Netflix," the statement added.
Kriti Sanon was last seen in 'Crew', alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. The movie minted more than Rs 75 crore in India.
Talking about Kajol, she was seen in two OTT projects last year. 'Lust Stories 2' was released on Netflix while her show 'The Trial' premiered on Disney+ Hotstar.
