"Made Me, My Family…": Urvashi Rautela Serves Defamation Notice To “Indecent Journalist”
Actress Urvashi Rautela has sent a defamation legal notice to a “journalist”, who made the claim that actor Akhil Akkineni harassed the actress during a shoot.
Actress Urvashi Rautela has said that she has served a defamation legal notice to an "indecent journalist", who posted false information about her. For the unversed, a Twitter account by the name of Umair Sandhu made a claim, saying actor Akhil Akkineni harassed her during a shoot. However, Urvashi Rautela has now clarified, that nothing of this sort happened. She also said that the “immature journalist” is not her "official spokesperson", and she even said that such a post made her, and her family very uncomfortable.
"Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team. Definitely disgruntled by indecent journalist like you for your spurious / ridiculous tweets. You're not my official spokesperson. And yes you're a very immature journalist who made me & my family extremely uncomfortable. #love #UrvashiRautela #UR1," Urvashi Rautela posted on Instagram.
In her post, Urvashi Rautela also shared an image of Umair Sandhu's tweet which she wrote as "fake".
The tweet had alleged that actor Akhil, who is the son of Nagarjuna, had harassed Urvashi while she filmed a song in Europe.
Umair Sandhu had also implied that Urvashi Rautela told him that the actor was "immature".
In 2023, Urvashi Rautela had made her Telugu film industry debut with 'Waltair Veerayya'.
The actress had made several appearances in music videos including Yo Yo Honey Singh's album 'Love Dose' in October 2014.
Over the past year, Urvashi Rautela has also been in the news for her comments on Rishabh Pant. Earlier this year, she posted a picture of the hospital where Rishabh Pant was undergoing treatment after his accident.
