Earlier, Tamannaah Bhatia had confessed that she used to be uncomfortable while watching sex scenes with family.
“I was that audience that would get awkward sitting with my family, sitting and watching something like that. I would start looking around, I would start fidgeting or be uncomfortable and for a large part of my career, I didn’t do any intimacy in my movies or in anything that I showcased," Tamannaah Bhatia told News18.
“So, for me, it was a journey from being an actor who caters to a massier audience to now doing stuff that, growing up for me, was a stigma. I just don’t want that to happen to the audience now cause they don’t need that anymore. That illusion has broken for me, so I am enjoying exploring myself as an artist and doing varied characters and work," she added.
'Lust Stories 2' boasts of a solid star cast including Amruta Subhash, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, and Vijay Varma.
The four stories in the anthology have been directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh.
Earlier while talking about the film, producer Ronnie Screwvala had said: "We are proud to bring to our audiences the second edition of our Emmy Nominated anthology, Lust Stories 2. We have seen all our films that we have done with Netflix like Mission Majnu, Lust Stories, Paava Kadhaigal, Raat Akeli Hai and Dhamaka, being recognized and loved by a global audience, making it the ideal platform for Lust Stories 2."
"Working with Netflix and Ashi Dua once again on this much-loved anthology made the entire process that much better and we can't wait for our audiences to see the film," he added.
The first installment of 'Lust Stories' released in 2018 and it was a Hindi-language anthology film, consisting of four short segments directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar.
