The winners of National Film Awards 2023 were announced recently, and it was Allu Arjun who won the Best Actor accolade for his role in 'Pushpa: The Rise'. However, in the latest entertainment news, many Vicky Kaushal fans believe that their favourite star was snubbed after putting in a phenomenal performance in Shoojit Sircar's 'Sardar Udham' and should have been awarded as well. Many on the internet believe that Vicky Kaushal's performance in 'Sardar Udham' was superior to Allu Arjun's in 'Pushpa: The Rise'.

For the uninitiated, 'Sardar Udham' was based on the life of freedom fighter Udham Singh. When the movie had released on Prime Video, Vicky Kaushal unanimously received glowing notices for his performance.
Vicky Kaushal had previously won the National Award for Best Actor with Ayushmann Khurrana, three years ago. They were awarded for their roles in 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' and 'Andhadhun', respectively.
At the National Awards 2023, Shoojit Sircar's 'Sardar Udham' starring Vicky Kaushal won several awards such as Best Hindi Film, Best Cinematography, Best Audiography, Best Production Design, and Best Costume Design.
