There seems to be a huge number of paparazzi, especially in Mumbai, as they cover every inch of the city to capture Bollywood stars through their lenses. While many B-town stars have accepted the paparazzi culture, others have not been so forthcoming. While still in its nascent stage, paparazzi culture is already starting to evolve in India. A new trend that seems to emerging has something to do with paparazzi’s slippers.
Yes, you heard that right! It started with a paparazzo losing his chappal while trying to film Alia Bhatt. The actress showed her incredible humble nature by picking the fallen chappal with her bare hands, and giving it to the pap.
The chappal has struck again, well not quite in the same manner that it has done previously. This time it ensured it remained on its owner’s feet, despite him taking a tumble.
In a bizarre incident, a paparazzo was seen backtracking with his phone in his hand, trying to film or take pictures of Kajol as she was exiting the airport.
The paparazzo took one too many steps back and fell straight on his backside, even dropping two phones in the process. Kajol was kind enough to stop and pick up one of the phones before quickly leaving the scene.

Fans roasted the pap, and made fun of this new trend.
“This is the new drama this PPL has started. Just to gain attention from celebs or check if they care or not,” wrote one user.
“Evert thing is scripted,” commented another.

“Chappal new version aa gaya market me,” wrote another.
Alia Bhatt’s chappal interaction started a whole chain of events with many a paparazzi, conveniently, losing their chappal at the sight of a Bollywood star.
Not everyone was as kind and down-to-earth as Alia Bhatt. While some completely ignored the fallen chappal and its owner, others like Kareena Kapoor made light of it all.
Kareena Kapoor in fact had an epic response to a pap’s slipper coming off.
"Aapka famous chappal nikal chukka hai," she said with a huge grin on her face.
