And their wedding was nothing less than a dreamy affair. While fans eagerly waited to see their first wedding photos, the couple hosted a reception function after their marriage. On Monday morning, Parineeti Chopra dropped the adorable first glimpses from their big day. There’s no denying the fact that the glimpses were enough to leave everyone in awe of them.
Parineeti Chopra went the extra mile in making her better half feel extra special by wearing a bridal veil with his name on it. She also wore custom-made kaliras, which beautifully captured their relationship and included the duo’s initials, the Om sign in Hindi, a gramophone, an airplane, a coffee cup, a hand-folded sign, a cupcake, a double-decker bus, etc.
Donning customized bridal veils and kaliras is a big trend witnessed during Bollywood weddings. While Parineeti Chopra jumped on the bandwagon, she added her personal touch to her wedding by doing something ultra-special for her husband. Actress Parineeti Chopra, who is also a talented singer, recorded a song titled ‘O Piya’ for her wedding with Raghav Chadha.
The melodious song added a special touch to their wedding ceremony. In the song, which had lyrics in Hindi and Punjabi, Parineeti Chopra expressed her love for Raghav Chadha.
‘O Piya’, which reportedly played at Parineeti and Raghav’s wedding ceremony on September 24 at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, has been composed by Gaurav Dutta. The lyrics are by Gaurav, Sunny MR and Harjot Kaur.
Through the song, Parineeti Chopra beautifully expressed her love and affection for her husband Raghav Chadha. This heartfelt gesture added an extra layer of emotion and personalization to their magical day.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on Sunday. The couple exchanged wedding vows in the presence of families and close friends.
Parineeti Chopra's cousin and actress Priyanka Chopra could not attend the wedding, but posted their wedding pictures on Instagram as she welcomed the AAP leader to the family.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had also hosted a reception for friends and family in Udaipur. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and former tennis player Sania Mirza had attended Parineeti and Raghav's wedding festivities.
The celebrity couple reached Delhi on Monday, hours after making their first appearance as a married couple in Udaipur. As per a recent report by ETimes, Parineeti and Raghav will be hosting a grand reception in Mumbai on October 4.
