'Pathaan' Scripts Yet Another Record, Gets Widest Release For An Indian Project In Dubbed Version Across Russia And CIS

In the latest entertainment news, the movie scripted yet another record by managing to achieve the widest release for an Indian project in dubbed version across Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
For the unversed, the CIS also comprises Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan.
The dubbed version will be releasing on July 13 across 3000 screens.
Yash Raj Films 'Pathaan', produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Siddharth Anand, is a historic all-time blockbuster.
It is the highest-grossing film worldwide in the history of Hindi cinema with over Rs 1050 crore gross at the global box office.
At the Indian box office, the movie made more than Rs 520 crores and it broke the record of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' to become the highest-grossing Hindi movie.
Earlier, 'Pathaan' had also become the first Hindi film to release in Bangladesh. It released in Bangladesh on May 12, 2023.
'Pathaan' is also the highest-grossing film of the fabled YRF’s Spy Universe that also includes blockbusters like 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', and 'War'.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, 'Pathaan' has been a part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious Spy Universe and starred the biggest superstars of the country - Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham.
The film also witnessed the spectacular reunion of SRK and Salman Khan, on the big screen, after almost three decades as two super-spies 'Pathaan' and 'Tiger', respectively.
