In the latest entertainment news, Pooja Bhatt in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, called these rumours "idiotic", saying that it has become a fashion where people start talking about another person's relationship with their family members.
During the interview, Siddharth Kannan asked Pooja Bhatt whether she was aware of rumours of Alia Bhatt being her daughter. She then said that she considers these rumours "idiotic".
"I find it is revealing the person more aur hamare desh mein toh ye bahut purani cheez hein ki start talking about somebody's relationship with their daughter or with their bhabhi or with their sister or with their whatever. So now how do you counteract that? Us cheez ko dignity bhi de sakte hein respond kar ke. It's absurd," Pooja Bhatt said.
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt had also addressed this rumour years ago when she had appeared on Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' with her 'Student of the Year' co-stars Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
During the episode, Karan Johar asked her "what is the most ridiculous rumour she has heard about herself."
To this, Alia Bhatt said how there is a report claiming that she is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt.
For the uninitiated, Pooja Bhatt is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt. While, Alia Bhatt is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan.
Talking about Pooja Bhatt, she was last seen in 'Bigg Boss OTT 2'. The actress managed to reach the finale, but was unable to win the show.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' alongside Ranveer Singh.
The movie emerged as a massive success story at the box office, collecting more than Rs 150 crore in India.
