Priyanka Chopra Jonas returned to India with daughter Malti Marie, sparking buzz around her upcoming film.
After soaking in quality time with husband-singer Nick Jonas during a family break, actress Priyanka Chopra is back on home turf. And this time, she’s brought her little sunshine along. The actress landed in Hyderabad with daughter Malti Marie, and gave fans an adorable glimpse of their journey through her Instagram Stories. Capturing the precious moment, Priyanka shared a photo of Malti peering out of the car window, soaking in the lush greenery, with the caption, “Hyderabad we made it!”
The photo instantly melted hearts online. In it, Malti is seen dressed in a white top and pink tulle skirt, gazing curiously out the window as they drove through the city.

Earlier, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had also shared another heart-warming image of the two holding hands in the car, captioned simply, “Mama and malti.”
While Priyanka Chopra didn’t reveal the purpose of her India visit, it’s widely speculated that she is here to resume work on ‘SSMB 29’, her upcoming big-ticket project with director SS Rajamouli. The action-adventure film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, and is penned by ‘Baahubali’ writer Vijayendra Prasad.
Rumoured to be inspired by the ‘Indiana Jones’ genre, the film is eyeing a 2027 release and is one of the most anticipated pan-India spectacles currently in production.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been keeping busy on the international front. She was recently seen in ‘Heads of State’ opposite Idris Elba and John Cena, which is currently streaming on Prime Video.
Up next, she’ll be returning to her action-packed avatar in ‘Citadel Season 2’. Not stopping there, she’s also set to portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in the upcoming film ‘The Bluff’.
Back in Bollywood, buzz is strong that Priyanka Chopra may make a sensational return with a special dance number in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’, which stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
