Priyanka Chopra, back in Mumbai after her New York trip, visited the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in a bright blue suit.
Global sensation Priyanka Chopra is currently in Mumbai, and the actress made headlines yet again as she combined work, tradition, and family moments during her visit. After attending a luxury event for Bvlgari earlier in the week, Priyanka was spotted embracing her cultural roots at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal, organised by the families of Kajol and Rani Mukerji. Priyanka looked radiant in a bright blue suit as she posed beside the idol of Goddess Durga, soaking in the festive spirit.
The actress was warmly welcomed by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, who personally greeted her at her car and accompanied her inside the pandal. Once there, she met Kajol’s sister, actress Tanishaa Mukerji, and the trio happily posed for pictures together. Several inside glimpses showed Priyanka with folded hands, paying her respects to the goddess, a sight that left her fans delighted.

Social media was abuzz with comments like, “Nice to see PC in front of Maa,” and “Wow, Priyanka ma’am in bhakti mood.”
The North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal has been a star-studded affair this year. Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan made an appearance, as did Twinkle Khanna, who is co-hosting a talk show with Kajol. Actor Ranbir Kapoor, known for his close bond with Ayan Mukerji, was also among the celebrities who joined the festivities.
Priyanka’s Mumbai trip comes soon after her time in New York, where she was with husband Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie. Just two weeks ago, she shared a heartfelt birthday tribute for Nick on Instagram, featuring adorable candid shots of the couple. In one of the pictures, their daughter Malti could be seen burying her face lovingly into her parents’ embrace, a moment fans couldn’t stop gushing over.
The actress and Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, in both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. In January 2022, they welcomed Malti Marie via surrogacy.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in ‘Heads of State’, co-starring Idris Elba and John Cena. Currently streaming on Prime Video, the action thriller features her as an MI6 agent, Noel Bisset.
She will soon be seen in ‘The Bluff’, where she plays a 19th-century Caribbean pirate, and is also gearing up for the highly anticipated second season of ‘Citadel’.
Priyanka is also set to return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s ‘SSMB 29’, starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, though the official cast announcement is awaited.
