After the massive box office success of his 2023 films 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', Shah Rukh Khan is ready to roar once again with this third release of the year – ‘Dunki’. The upcoming Bollywood film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first collaboration with ace director Rajkumar Hirani. SRK’s collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani has been anticipated for a long time now, and the two powerhouses will finally spread their magic on the silver screen with ‘Dunki’. The new Hindi movie is slated to release in theatres on December 22, 2023, and it will likely clash with Prabas’ ‘Salaar’.

On Wednesday, SRK decided to hold yet another #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter), and answered a bunch of fan questions about 'Dunki', and his collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani.

“Away shooting. Been told call time is a bit later. So think can do a faasssttt #AskSRK with u all if u are also free like me,” SRK wrote on X.

However, the session went on for long and Rajkumar Hirani decided to write a message for SRK on X, asking him to come out of the bathroom.

“Sirji ab bathroom se bahar aa jao. Kya kar rahe ho? Trailer dikhana hain. #AskSRK,” wrote Rajkumar Hirani.

Responding to this particular message, SRK said, “Oh Sh#%. Coming sir…doston se baat kar raha tha!!! Sorry boys and girls have to rush now. Varna #Dunki se nikaal denge!!! Thanks for ur time boys and girls. See u in the theatres very very soon. Love u all. So much to do less time to talk to you….Muah.”

During the #AskSRK session, Shah Rukh Khan also confirmed that 'Dunki' is arriving as planned, and there is no delay.

When a user asked, "Dunki ki realise date fix h na," SRK replied, saying, "#Dunki Fixed hi hai. Aur kya karoon Maathe pe gudwa loon."

'Dunki' has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who is known for projects like 'MunnaBhai MBBS', 'Lage Raho MunnaBhai', '3 Idiots', 'PK', and 'Sanju'.

Rajkumar Hirani is yet to deliver a flop at the box office. Apart from SRK, 'Dunki' also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal.

Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen in Atlee’s directorial ‘Jawan’, which released on September 7. The film, also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, has already collected Rs 519.64 crore in Hindi. If one adds the Telugu and Tamil versions as well, then the movie's collection is a whopping Rs 578 crore.

Before ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh Khan starred in ‘Pathaan’, which also featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. ‘Pathaan’, which marked SRK’s comeback to movies after the 2018 film ‘Zero’, became the highest-grossing Hindi movie of all time.
