Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor Commence Shooting For 'Stree 2'
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor have started shooting for 'Stree 2'.
'Stree' became quite a rage in 2018 when it released in theatres, and both Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor won praise for their performances. The horror-comedy was directed by Amar Kaushik. Earlier this year, it was announced that the second installment of the 'Stree' franchise would be releasing in 2024, and in the latest entertainment news, actor Rajkummar Rao confirmed that he has begun shooting for the new Hindi movie alongside Shraddha Kapoor. Rajkummar Rao posted a selfie with Shraddha Kapoor on Instagram and wrote: "Kya hoga jab phir se milenge Stree aur Purush? #Stree2."

Earlier this year on April 12, it was announced that 'Stree 2' would be releasing in theatres in 2024.
Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee had taken the stage at the Jio Studios’ Infinite Together event to make the formal announcement.
The plot of 'Stree' revolved around a witch who abducts men at night when they are alone and only leaves their clothes behind.
The movie starred Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee.
The plot of the movie was based on the urban legend Nale Ba (Come tomorrow) of Karnataka.
'Stree' also received positive reviews, and special praise was directed towards the film's direction, dialogues, and storyline.
Made on a budget of around Rs 20 crore, the movie went on to do a domestic box office business of more than Rs 125 crore.
The film also ended up receiving 10 nominations at the 64th Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor.
