"Animal Mania" Takes Over! How The World Reacted To Ranbir Kapoor-Starrer Releasing In Theatres
'Animal', starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, released in theatres today, and the reactions are coming thick and fast.
'Animal', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, released in theatres today. The movie is set to be the biggest opener of Ranbir Kapoor's career and as per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Animal' is expected to deliver Rs 60 crore from India alone on Day 1, while globally the figure might be over the Rs 100 crore mark. 'Animal' delivered one of the biggest pre-sales in the history of Indian films and it sold nearly 5 lakh tickets at the national cinema chains prior to its release day, finishing at the fifth spot on the all-time list after 'Baahubali 2', 'Jawan', 'Pathaan', and 'KGF: Chapter 2'.
The screening of 'Animal' was held on Thursday evening in Mumbai and it was attended by every cast member. Ranbir Kapoor's wife Alia Bhatt and mother Neetu Kapoor were also in attendance.
After watching 'Animal', Alia Bhatt called the movie as "outstanding" and "khatarnak."

For the unversed, 'Animal' is Sandeep Reddy Vanga's second Hindi directorial after 'Kabir Singh' which released in 2018.
'Kabir Singh' had made Rs 400 crore worldwide. However, the movie generated polarising reactions.
Talking about 'Animal', the movie has a runtime of 3 hours 21 minutes, and it has also gotten an 'A' (adults only) certificate.
The movie is also facing a clash at the box office as Meghna Gulzar's 'Sam Bahadur' starring Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, has released on the same day.
