Diljit Dosanjh paid a special tribute during his concert to business tycoon Ratan Tata, who died on Wednesday night.
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh paid a special tribute to business tycoon Ratan Tata, who passed away on Wednesday night. A video is currently going viral on social media, in which Diljit Dosanjh can be seen stopping his Germany concert midway to honour Ratan Tata's legacy and he also shared the values of the Indian icon. Diljit Dosanjh also revealed that he never got the opportunity to meet Ratan Tara, but the latter did leave an impression on him.
“You all know about Ratan Tata. He has passed away. This is my small tribute to him. Today, I feel it is important to take his name because his life — he has always worked hard. Whatever I have heard and read of him, I have never seen him speak anything wrong about anyone,” Diljit Dosanjh said in Punjabi.
“He has always worked hard in his life, did good work, was helpful. This is life, this is how one should be. If there is one thing we can learn from his life, it is that we should work hard, think positive, be helpful and live life to its fullest,” the Punjabi singer added.

For the unversed, Ratan Tata died on Wednesday night. As per reports, he was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Monday after suffering a sudden drop in blood pressure.
He was then admitted in ICU after his health worsened. The news of his death was shared on late Wednesday night.
Ratan Tata was known for his visionary ideas that helped Tata Group reach new heights. However, it was due to his philanthropy work that he was a beloved icon of India.
Coming back to Diljit Dosanjh, he will kick off his India tour on October 26, in Delhi, visiting ten Indian cities over the next two months as part of the Dil-Luminati Tour.
After Delhi, the tour will make its way to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
