Reema Kagti Reveals When Will ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ Go On Floors, Gives Update On ‘Made In Heaven 2’

Writer-director Reema Kagti shared the latest updates on ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ and ‘Made In Heaven’ season 2.

Bringing together three of the biggest female celebrities -- Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, fans are eagerly waiting for an update on ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ ever since the film was announced in August 2021. Touted to be a celebration of friendship, the Farhan Akhtar directorial is written by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. And if you are one of those waiting to see the three actresses on screen, we finally have an update on the movie. The Indian Express recently caught up with Reema Kagti as she promoted her upcoming show ‘Dahaad’. 

When asked to share an update about ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, the writer said, “We will start shooting by end of the year. We are looking forward to it and are really excited.”

Meanwhile, in March this year, Farhan Akhtar shared a picture on Instagram as he commenced the recce of ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. In the picture, he can be seen exploring the deserts of Rajasthan. 

Farhan Akhtar tagged Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif on the post, and wrote, “Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan". 

Alia Bhatt commented, “Can't waittttt,” while Katrina wrote, “So exciting.”

‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is one of the most awaited films in recent times. As per several reports, Shah Rukh Khan will have a cameo in Farhan Akhtar's ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. 

While the star-studded project tops the list of the most anticipated films, the next season of the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Made in Heaven’ is also highly awaited. The Amazon Prime Video show, starring Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur, showcased the many sides of relationships and marriage through the eyes of two wedding planners.

On being asked about when will the second season of the Amazon Prime Video series release, Reema Kagti replied, “Soon soon. Very soon. Actually sooner than you’d expect.”
