“I Have Only Got…”: Rimi Sen Addresses Rumours About Undergoing Plastic Surgery
Rimi Sen has reacted to the recent plastic surgery rumours after her Instagram pictures and videos went viral.
Indian actress Rimi Sen made a mark in Bollywood primarily during the 2000s. She started her career in Bengali cinema before transitioning to Hindi films. Her entry into Bollywood marked the beginning of her rise to fame. She gained prominence with her debut in the Hindi film industry through ‘Hungama’ (2003). The Hindi movie, directed by Priyadarshan, also starred Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, and Paresh Rawal. Rimi Sen’s breakthrough came with her role in ‘Dhoom’ (2004). Rimi Sen then starred in several movies like ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Kyon Ki’, ‘Deewane Huye Paagal’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ and ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’.
Rimi Sen later took a break from acting in mainstream Bollywood films and participated in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9’. Her movie appearances have been limited in the recent years. However, recently, she made headlines after her Instagram pictures and videos went viral online. Several people thought that she had undergone plastic surgery and looked unrecognisable now.
Now, Rimi Sen has herself come forward and addressed the recent plastic surgery rumours. She told Hindustan Times, “Agar logon ko aisa lag raha hai ki maine plastic surgery karvayi hai... if it’s in a good way, it’s very good for me. Bina plastic surgery karaye bina hi log bol rahe hain.”
She further revealed, “I have only got fillers, Botox, PRP treatment done, nothing else.”
The Indian actress further said, “One shouldn’t need to get plastic surgery done unless someone is on the run after committing any crime! There are so many good doctors outside India, who are very good at facelifts. I too want to get it done, but I will think about it after I cross the age of 50. Abhi inn sab se kaam chal raha hai.”
Rimi Sen also said that she currently has two doctors that she consults and gets treatments done from them.
“They help me a lot to look good. Shayad logon ko meri latest pics mein skin achha lag raha hoga mera. Anyone can look good by using these things, and having discipline. But if you are calling what I have done bad, then tell me how can I correct it, so I can tell my doctors where they are going wrong. I can say isko correct kar do,” she concluded.
Apart from ‘Bigg Boss 9’, Rimi Sen has also participated in the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Ja Season 9’.
