Rohit Roy has been acting since the 1990s and in the latest entertainment news, he has recalled a phase when he was repeatedly getting frustrated with the kind of work he was doing on television. He also shared an anecdote where superstar Salman Khan called him a "fat cow", and said that the conversation with the 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' actor led to his “physical metamorphosis”. Rohit Roy also said that he has known Salman Khan since he was 15 years old, and he was the one who gave the clap for his debut Bollywood film.
“When I was thinking of becoming an actor, he told me you look like a Hollywood actor from the 60s, you should dress like that," said Rohit Roy.
"I had put on a lot of weight, I was getting frustrated because things were not working out. I told Salman that I’m not happy. I’m trying my best but things are not happening and he looked at me and said you look like a fat cow, even I wouldn’t give you any work," he added.
Rohit Roy then shared that he and Salman Khan used to speak all night, saying “everything he shared with me that day led to my complete metamorphosis physically. I was 45-46 and I decided that before I touch 50, I want to be the sexiest 50-year-old and it happened.”
“He said you either be like this, or you keep fighting. It wasn’t like I was looking bad, but he could see that I could be more," he added.
Rohit Roy then said that it was after this transformation, that he was able to land Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Kaabil' which also featured Yami Gautam in a leading role.
