Ajay Devgn has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Singham Again’, directed by Rohit Shetty.
‘Singham’, directed by Rohit Shetty, was released in cinemas on July 22, 2011. The film starred Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, a righteous police officer, and Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Prakash Raj played the antagonist, Jaykant Shikre. While Ajay Devgn had played a cop before in ‘Gangaajal’, the ‘Singham’ movie franchise remains iconic in his decades-long career. Ajay Devgn's portrayal of the character was characterized by his trademark intensity and action-packed sequences. His performance contributed to the film's success and established him as a formidable action hero in Bollywood.
In 2014, ‘Singham Returns’, was released and it also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan. In 2024, ‘Singham Again’ is set to release. The film, which will see Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor khan reprising their roles, will also feature Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor.
Today, ‘Singham’ completed 13 years since its release. Rohit Shetty has now dropped a special video to celebrate his bond with Ajay Devgn as the Bollywood actor wrapped shooting for ‘Singham Again’ on the 13th anniversary of their film ‘Singham’.
Celebrating the occasion, Rohit Shetty wrote along with the video, “13 years of Singham, 33 years of brotherhood.”

Rohit Shetty took his followers behind the scenes of their upcoming film ‘Singham Again’ and revealed that Ajay Devgn wrapped shooting for it today.
The text in the video read, “Today we complete 13 years of Singham and look at the magic of destiny. Today we also wrap Singham Again with Ajay sir. This is my 13th film with him as a director but the journey began back in the 90s when I was working under him. 33 years later and we are still going strong. See you at the cinemas this Diwali.”
Soon after Rohit Shetty shared the video on Instagram, several social media users reacted to it. One user wrote, “The best thing i saw on instagram today. Purest souls.”
Another one added, “The bestest duo.”
A third user commented, “I am waiting Singham again Rohit sir.”
“The best on screen jodi,” another comment on the post read.
The action-packed multi-starrer ‘Singham Again’ is set to hit the big screens on Diwali 2024.
