'Sadak 2' Actress Chrisann Pereira Released From Sharjah Jail, Watch Family's Emotional Reaction
Actress Chrisann Pereira was jailed in Sharjah after being allegedly framed in a drug case.
Actress Chrisann Pereira underwent a turbulent time in her life recently as she was lodged in a Sharjah jail since April 1. As the month has gone on, shocking details have come out, and now it is being alleged that the 'Sadak 2' actress was framed in a narcotics case. Chrisann Pereira was finally released from the jail on Wednesday evening and as soon as she stepped out, she made a video call to her family in India. The actress' brother Kevin Pereira shared a video of her interacting with the family. Their mother can be seen dancing after witnessing the release of her daughter from jail. Kevin, has deleted the video from Instagram. However, the clip has now made its way to Twitter and many users are sharing it widely.

The video begins with the mother jumping in joy after seeing her daughter coming out of jail. The next clip shows the actress talking to her family while holding back her tears.
Her brother then tells her that she has become a reason for hope to many, who have been jailed for no fault of theirs.
The actress also wrote a letter for those who supported her and fought for her.
"Dear Warriors, It took me three weeks and five days to find pen and paper in jail. After I washed my hair with Tide and made coffee using toilet water, I watched Bollywood movies, sometimes with tears in my eyes knowing my ambition brought me here. I sometimes smile at our culture, our movies, and the familiar faces on TV. I feel proud to be an Indian and belong to the Indian film industry," she wrote, as per an Instagram post.
As per The Indian Express, the actress was in a Sharjah jail since April 1 after a bakery owner Anthony Paul allegedly framed her in a drugs case.
The actress has previously worked in films 'Sadak 2' and 'Batla House'.
