For the unversed, Salman Khan has received multiple death theatres from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for years and this has led to the security being tightened around the megastar. Salman Khan is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Sikandar’, which is going to hit the theatres on Sunday, March 30.

Ahead of the arrival of the AR Murugudoss directorial on the silver screen, Salman Khan held a special press conference on Wednesday. During the same, he opened up about his future projects, age gap with co-stars and the multiple death threats that he has received from Lawrence Bishnoi.

It was then that he finally broke silence on receiving several death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi. “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai,” said Salman Khan, as quoted by The Indian Express.

For the unversed, Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in Ahmedabad's Sabarmarti Jail. He is behind the bars in cases including attempted murder and extortion.

Last year, suspected members of his gang opened fire outside Salman Khan's residence in Bandra. As per The Indian Express, Navi Mumbai Police also claimed to have uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang to kill Salman Khan while he was on his way to his farmhouse in Panvel.

In November 2024, Salman Khan received a threat along with a ransom demand of Rs 5 crore. The threat message also asked Salman to apologise for his alleged role in the blackbuck poaching incident.

“If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishnoi community) temple and apologise or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active,” the message said.
