“They Just Want…”: Salman Khan's Father Breaks Silence After Firing Outside Galaxy Apartment
Salman Khan's father Salim Khan has spoken about the shooting that took place outside Galaxy Apartment.
Fans are still shocked after finding out that two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired multiple shots outside the Mumbai home of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. In the latest Bollywood celebrity news, the authorities have launched a full-scale investigation. For the unversed, the incident happened on Sunday morning around 5 AM. No injuries have been reported, and in the latest trending news, Salman Khan's father Salim Khan has spoken about the incident. Salim Khan has assured that the entire family is safe and has dismissed the incident as a publicity stunt pulled by the unidentified men who fired the shots.
“There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry,” Salim Khan told CNN News 18.
On Sunday, a Facebook post allegedly uploaded by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the firing outside the house of Salman Khan.
After the incident, several celebrities such as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and Salman’s sister Arpita Sharma, visited the house to check up on the actor.
Several police sources have identified one of the suspects captured on CCTV as Vishal alias Kalu, a shooter in the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, as reported by Indian Express.
The security of Salman Khan has been increased. For the unversed, the actor already has Y-plus category security cover.
Salman Khan had earlier received death threats from Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar.
On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the 2023 Hindi movie ‘Tiger 3’ alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Last year, he was also seen in Farhad Samji's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'.
Salman Khan will next be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss’ next titled 'Sikandar', which is slated to release in cinemas on Eid 2025.
He will also be seen in Karan Johar-backed 'The Bull'. However, no other details about the project has been revealed yet.
