Dressed in his usual swag, Salman Khan entered the set and wasted no time getting the audience laughing. He kicked off with a hilarious dig at Netflix, which now hosts Kapil Sharma's new show.
Referring to the earlier version of the show that he backed, Salman quipped, “Yeh jo show pehele humaare paas hua karta tha, humaare se Netflix waalo ne show nikaal ke pehle guest mujhe daala hai. Kamaal ka power hai!”
The banter continued when Kapil Sharma teased Salman about Aamir Khan’s love life, referencing Aamir’s introduction of his new girlfriend Gauri Spratt.
“Woh ruk nahi rahe hain, aap kar hi nahi rahe hain,” Kapil joked. Hearing this, Salman poked fun at Aamir and replied, “Aamir ki baat hi kuchh aur hai. He's a perfectionist. Jab tak woh marriage ko ek dum perfect nahi kar lega.”
In another moment from the show, Salman Khan was seen interacting with impersonators dressed as popular Bollywood stars – including one mimicking his ‘Tere Naam’ look as Radhe Bhaiyya.
“Kaam dhanda accha chal raha hai? Sikandar se koi farak to nahi pada?” he joked with his lookalike, referring to his recent release ‘Sikandar’.
‘Sikandar’, which released on March 30, starred Salman alongside Rashmika Mandanna and was directed by AR Murugadoss. Despite crossing Rs 121 crore at the box office, the film received mixed reviews. The cast also included Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj and Anjini Dhawan.
The first episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ featuring Salman Khan will air on June 21. The new season also marks the return of Navjot Singh Sidhu as a regular, alongside Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, and Krushna Abhishek – promising a full dose of laughter and celebrity fun.
