Salman Khan To Team Up With 'Ghajini' Director AR Murugadoss; Film To Release On Eid 2025: Report
As per a latest report, Salman Khan is all set to team up with 'Ghajini' director AR Murugadoss for a big action film.
Fans of Salman Khan are waiting eagerly for the superstar's next movie announcement. The actor who was last seen in 'Tiger 3', alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, has not announced his next slate of films, and it is leading to a lot of speculation. In the latest entertainment news, a Pinkvilla report states that Salman Khan is all set to team up with 'Ghajini' director AR Murugadoss. The movie will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. As per Pinkvilla, the film will be a big-ticket action entertainer, that is targetting to release in cinemas on Eid 2025.
“Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have been discussing a probable collaboration for a while now. When Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss discussed this subject, the only name that came to their mind was Salman Khan, and when the producer discussed the film with Salman, it was an instant yes from the superstar,” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.
The report also states that the film will be a global action entertainer, which will be shot at multiple countries through 2024.
“The yet untitled action thriller will be shot in Portugal and other European countries apart from some portions in India on a huge budget of Rs 400 crore, making it the most ambitious film of Sajid Nadiadwala. The meetings took place earlier in the year and all the energies aligned in the right way to start the film as soon as possible," the source said.
"Among every script that came his way over the last year, the AR Murugadoss film is something that excited him the most leading him to put the film on priority,” the source added.
For the unversed, AR Murugadoss is known for projects like Aamir Khan-starrer 'Ghajini' and Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Holiday'.
Not many people know but the director had previously pitched 'Ghajini' to Salman Khan and after his denial, Aamir Khan came on board.
On the work front, Salman Khan is also rumoured to be starring in Dharma Productions' 'The Bull', directed by 'Shershaah' filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan.
