It was a star-studded affair at the special screening of Aamir Khan’s latest film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, with Bollywood’s biggest names turning up for the event. Among the highlights of the evening was a slightly awkward moment involving Salman Khan and Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. Aamir arrived at the screening accompanied by his girlfriend Gauri Spratt and younger son Azad. His daughter Ira Khan and elder son Junaid also joined in later. However, amid the bustling crowd and media frenzy, Junaid Khan found himself on the wrong side of Salman Khan’s hyper-vigilant security team.

As Salman made his way through the packed venue, surrounded by a heavy security due to recent death threats he has received, Junaid attempted to escort the superstar inside. But in the chaos, Salman's guards failed to recognize Junaid and blocked his approach, likely mistaking him for a fan or a member of the press. A video of the same has now gone viral.

Check out the video here:

In the video from the event, Salman Khan can be seen being tightly shielded by his team as he moved through the crowd. In the same footage, Junaid is seen trying to reach out to the star, only to be pushed aside by a bodyguard. He appeared to explain himself, but the security team remained firm, maintaining a tight circle around Salman.

The Bollywood superstar himself seemed unaware of the situation, focused solely on moving ahead. Salman had come out in support of his long-time friend Aamir for the premiere.

Junaid Khan, who made his debut with the well-received 2024 OTT release ‘Maharaj’, has been working steadily in the industry. He last starred in the romantic-comedy ‘Loveyapa’ alongside Khushi Kapoor. However, the film did not perform well at the box office, wrapping up with a modest worldwide collection of Rs 8.85 crore. It was directed by Advait Chandan and backed by AGS Entertainment and Phantom Films.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, released in theatres on June 20, is touted as a spiritual sequel to his 2007 classic ‘Taare Zameen Par’. The new film stars Genelia D’Souza alongside Aamir and explores fresh emotional terrain while building on the legacy of its predecessor.
