Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Somy Ali recently shared a lengthy Instagram post, in which she revealed that no one came to support when she had to face abuse from a "huge star". In her post, Somy Ali also took a dig at another big Bollywood figure, who has a daughter, but remains unaware of the actions of this huge star. Somy Ali shared multiple pictures on Instagram.
In her post, Somy Ali also said that she had taken a stand publicly for the son of the superstar when he was accused of drug usage.
In her caption, Somy Ali wrote: "I will be told to take down posts. I will be questioned of my sanity. I will be gossiped about having a drinking problem (the irony) yet I will go on because you have not gone through all that humiliation, every form of torture and abuse while no one sided with you because your abuser’s a huge star and you are friends are on his side."
"He can make or break their career which he has for many out of vengeance and anger. You believed your friends and assumed they would take a stand for you because they knew everything you literally told them details and they witnessed them too many a times," she added.
Talking about another superstar, Somy Ali wrote: "Might I add a very good human being, the king of Bollywood stated that this abuser is a very “pyara insaan” which translates as “a very good human being.” Remember I am quoting a huge actor whom I have the utmost respect for, but I also know that he’s in a bind. Nonetheless it’s sad and ironic that the amount of respect this superstar has for women yet would even look in this abuser’s way baffles me."
"I wouldn’t let any roadblocks hinder my ability to take a stand more so when he himself has a daughter. Hey, I took many stands publicly for his son when he was accused of drug usage. But I guess to each their own. Point in case here, you will never shut me up and this too will have an ending, a horror movie with a very happy ending. And before you troll pitiful souls start shooting your profanities my way, just no that I do not read them and don’t have time for them," she added.
Adding further, Somy Ali said: "You did not have to live my life. You were not behind those closed doors and you have the audacity to claim to know my life, my incidents and all that I endured. What I experienced be it good or bad, you don’t even have the slightest clue. You are merely speculating and being cruel to a human being who has done nothing to you. Give this some thought please, not just for me, but to many other individuals being bullied online. Let’s put an end to this please. It has to stop."
A few months back, when someone asked about her relationship with Salman Khan, Somy Ali had shared that they were the "worst years" of her life.
For the unversed, Salman Khan and Somy Ali had reportedly dated each other in the 90s.
