For the unversed, Salman Khan's latest look is said to be for his next project, which is based on the Galwan Valley conflict. According to reports, the film is believed to be inspired by the life of Indian Army Officer Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu.
According to industry sources quoted by Bollywood Hungama, “He’s not just wearing a uniform; he’s shouldering the story of a national hero.”
Salman Khan was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ ‘Sikandar’. The film, which also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Anjini Dhawan and Sharman Joshi, tanked miserably at the box office, earning just a little above Rs 100 crore in India.
Despite being Salman Khan’s comeback to the silver screen after a hiatus since 2023, ‘Sikandar’ failed to make a significant impact.
Released on March 30, the film collected Rs 26 crore on its opening day, which fell short compared to Chhaava’s Rs 31 crore opening. By the end of its first week, it garnered Rs 90.25 crore.
However, the film did manage to enter the Rs 100 crore club on its eighth day of release, earning Rs 4.50 crore that day and bringing the total to Rs 110 crore domestically, according to Sacnilk.
