The day is nearly here! 'Animal' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga will finally be releasing in theatres on Friday, December 1. For the unversed, 'Animal' stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in leading roles. In the latest entertainment news, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has addressed the viral scene featuring Rashmika Mandanna, in which she was seen speaking to Ranbir Kapoor with clenched teeth.

For the unversed, after the trailer launch, Rashmika Mandanna was trolled quite a bit for her dialogue delivery with some expressing difficulty in comprehending Rashmika’s dialogue.

Talking to India Today, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, "She was supposed to speak in a particular way because it’s a very emotional scene. I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, then they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense.”

In another video, Sandeep Reddy Vanga can be seen addressing various fan theories regarding 'Animal'. The director refuted such claims, asserting that there is no truth to Bobby Deol's character being mute or stepbrother of Ranbir Kapoor.

For the unversed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for his past two projects, 'Arjun Reddy' and its Hindi adaptation 'Kabir Singh'.

Both the films were massive hit at the box office but they were criticised for glorifying toxic masculinity.

Speaking of 'Animal', the movie has beaten the likes of 'Tiger 3' and 'Brahmastra' in terms of advance ticket sales at the national cinema chains for Day 1.

It is fair to say that 'Animal' will sell almost 4 lakh tickets in the national cinema chains for the first day, and it needs to be seen whether it manages to go past Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer 'War' as it had sold 4.10 lakh tickets.

All India, 'Animal' has so far sold 7,45,992 tickets, grossing Rs 19.7 crore for the opening day.

'Animal' is releasing in theatres in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
