Sara Ali Khan's ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ Gets Release Date. Here’s When And Where You Can Watch It
Sara Ali Khan will soon be seen in ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, which will also feature a special appearance by Emraan Hashmi.
Sara Ali Khan, who is known for her humble nature and funny poems, made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 movie ‘Kedarnath’, co-starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Her performance in the 2018 Hindi movie was widely praised, and she ended up winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Following her debut, Sara Ali Khan starred in the commercial hit ‘Simmba’, alongside Ranveer Singh. In subsequent years, the Bollywood actress has starred in films like ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Atrangi Re’, and ‘Gaslight’.
Sara Ali Khan, who tasted success in 2023 with ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, will soon be seen in a completely different avatar in her upcoming period drama film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’. The 2024 Hindi film is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video in March. Sara Ali Khan shared an announcement video on Instagram, revealing the release date as March 21.

Sara Ali Khan has a busy 2024 as shortly before featuring in ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, she will also be seen in the upcoming murder mystery movie ‘Murder Mubarak’. The movie is scheduled to release on Prime Video’s rival Netflix just a week earlier, on March 15.
The video shared alongside the release date of ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ showed Sara Ali Khan’s character Usha urging listeners to revolt against the British and telling them that they will soon wake up in an independent India. Usha (Sara Ali Khan) is a woman who runs a clandestine radio channel during the British Raj.
Sara Ali Khan announced the release date on Tuesday, February 13, which also happens to be World Radio Day.
The movie is said to be inspired by the real-life freedom fighter Usha Mehta. Directed by Kannan Iyer, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ will be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The upcoming Hindi film, backed by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra’s Dharmatic Entertainment, is co-written by Kannan Iyer and Darab Farooqui.
‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ will also see Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi in a special appearance. The upcoming Hindi movie also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’ Nell and Anand Tiwari in pivotal roles.
