Shah Rukh Khan recently reacted to singer Diljit Dosanjh giving a shoutout to the Bollywood superstar and his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. Recently, the ‘Lover’ singer performed in Kolkata, enthralling a jam packed arena with a sea of fans. Diljit Dosanjh then shared a clip on his social media, in which he can be seen speaking about Rabindranath Tagore and Guru Nanak. The video began with the singer shouting KKR's tagline, ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re’.
“Yeh bahut acchi tagline hai. Yeh Kolkata Knight Riders ki hai? Badi pyaari tagline lagi. Especially ye Shah Rukh Khan sir ki team hai toh waise acchi lagni thi hume kyuki hum sir ke fan hai. Toh yeh bada accha mantra bhi hai ki aap apni mehnat kare, lade apne saath or chahe jeete na jeeteh yeh baad ki baat hai,” said Diljit Dosanjh in the video.
“Humara farz hai 100 per cent dena. Aap 100 percent mehnat karte hai toh obviously jeet ke paas koi option nahi reh jata. Toh yeh bada accha slogan hai,” he added.
Shah Rukh Khan later responded to Diljit's post, saying, “Thank you for bringing joy to the City of Joy, @diljitdosanjh Paaji. I’m sure all at @KKRiders and their fans love the Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo reference. All the best and have a great tour…. Love u.”

During his concert in Kolkata, Diljit Dosanjh also said, “Aap logo k liye bade fakar ki baat hai ki aap k paas itne badi mahaan hastiyan hai -- spiritual leaders, Rabindranath Tagore. I was reading about him, and I like one thing. Someone told him, 'You have written the National anthem, so you write the world anthem as well'.”
“Guru Nanak ji already wrote that in the 15th century',” he added. Diljit Dosanjh also stated that the love between the people of Kolkata and Punjabis is very old.
