Shah Rukh Khan thanked Diljit Dosanjh for his incredible vocals on ‘Tenu Ki Pata’, from Aryan Khan’s directorial debut ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’.
It's not every day you see one superstar hyping up another, but Shah Rukh Khan did just that, and for a very special reason. The Bollywood megastar took to Instagram to post a thank you note for Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh for his killer vocals on ‘Tenu Ki Pata’, the newest track from SRK’s son Aryan Khan's highly anticipated directorial debut series ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. SRK also shared a behind-the-scenes video from the song’s recording session, capturing the creative energy and collaboration between the artists.
Being every bit the proud father, SRK captioned the post, “A heartfelt thanks and big jhappi to Diljit paaji….you are too kind and sweet. Hope Aryan didn’t trouble u too much. Love u. #TenuKiPata out now! Watch The Ba***ds of Bollywood, out 18 September, only on Netflix.”

The accompanying video offered fans an exclusive glimpse into the making of the song. It showed Diljit Dosanjh in the recording booth, passionately delivering the vocals with his signature style. Aryan Khan, stepping confidently into his role as director, was seen observing the process intently, collaborating with the music team, and sharing light-hearted moments with Diljit Dosanjh.
The video showcased the professional yet friendly atmosphere in the studio, with scenes of Aryan Khan playing a guitar, the team listening to the final mix, and the collaboration culminating in a warm hug between Aryan and Diljit.
For the unversed, ‘Tenu Ki Pata’ is the third song to be released from the upcoming Netflix series, following the successful drop of ‘Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri’ and ‘Badli Si Hawa Hai’. The song was dropped a day before.
Tenu Ki Pata’s credits revealed a powerful creative team: it is composed, arranged, and produced by Ujwal Gupta, with poignant lyrics penned by Kumaar. The vocals are a compelling trio featuring the powerhouse voice of Diljit Dosanjh, the composer Ujwal Gupta, and, in a surprising and exciting reveal, Aryan Khan himself.
This project marks a significant milestone for Aryan Khan, who not only serves as the writer and director but is also involved in the musical aspects of the show.
Produced under Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's home banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ is set to premiere on Netflix on September 18.
