Shah Rukh Khan's 'blockbuster' 'Jawan' will be released in Japan on this date.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a roaring comeback to the silver screen in 2023, delivering three box office hits with 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'. While Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' managed to do business of more than Rs 470 crore worldwide, both 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' collected more than Rs 1,000 crore each worldwide. 'Jawan', directed by Atlee, starring SRK, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover, is currently the highest-grossing Hindi of all time in India, with a collection of more than Rs 550 crores.
In the latest entertainment news, 'Jawan' will soon be released in Japan, and it is slated to premiere in the country on November 29, 2024. The Hindi film will be distributed by Twin, a regular distributor of Indian movies in Japan.
Confirming the release plans on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle with a trailer and poster, the distributor confirmed that the advance booking for 'Jawan' in Japan will be commencing on July 5, 2024.
The advance booking is now beginning nearly five months ahead of its release in Japan. Those buying the tickets will also be getting posters of Shah Rukh Khan from the 'Jawan' song 'Chaleya'.

For the unversed, ‘Jawan’ released in cinemas on September 7, 2023, and the film recorded a lifetime collection of Rs 643.87 crore in India and Rs 1,148.32 crore worldwide.
'Jawan' is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film was released worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The film is currently streaming on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 'Jawan' also features special appearances by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
Speaking of SRK, he will next be seen in ‘King’, co-starring his daughter Suhana Khan who made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s 2023 movie ‘The Archies’.
