Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen on the silver screen in the 2023 film ‘Dunki’, appears to have resumed filming his much-anticipated action thriller ‘King’ after taking time off to recover from shoulder surgery. The superstar was recently spotted on set in Mumbai, with a fan-captured picture sparking a wave of excitement online. On Thursday, an image of SRK, purportedly from the film’s set, surfaced on Reddit with the caption: “SRK spotted on the sets of King.”

The photo showed the Bollywood star exiting a McDonald’s outlet amid umbrellas, lights, and camera gear, suggesting a shoot in progress. Dressed in a white shirt, black sunglasses, and sporting a new salt-and-pepper hairstyle, Shah Rukh Khan instantly set social media buzzing. Though the image was taken from afar and does not confirm if his arm remains in a sling, it was enough to thrill fans.
The star’s grey-haired avatar drew particular attention, with many dubbing it his “silver fox era.”

Suhana, who made her acting debut with ‘The Archies’ on Netflix in 2023, will share the screen with her father in what is expected to be a high-octane action spectacle.
The ensemble cast is packed with talent, featuring Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma, and Raghav Juyal. Adding further star power, cameos are expected from Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, and Anil Kapoor.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘King’ is slated for a 2026 release and is already shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Bollywood action thrillers of recent times.
