Shah Rukh Khan once again showcased his funny and witty side while responding to Gautam Gambhir’s birthday wish for him.
Shah Rukh Khan, fondly referred to as ‘King Khan’ and the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ by his fans, is not just famous for his impeccable acting chops but also for his off-screen persona. Calling his off-screen persona charming will be an understatement! SRK is famous for his comebacks and replies, which are always dripping with wit and humour. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan turned 59 and he was naturally flooded with wishes from his fans, friends and family members. SRK has now responded to several wishes on Twitter, one of them being from Gautam Gambhir.
King Khan responded to Gautam Gambhir's wish, in his very own style, displaying full wit and humour.
On X (formerly Twitter), Gautam Gambhir had written, “Here’s to the man who keeps turning 25! Your energy, charisma & charm gets more youthful every year! May you keep spreading love forever! @iamsrk.”
The actor has now finally responded to this birthday wish, saying, “I’m 25?!? I thought I was younger…. Ha ha… thank you GG for being such an inspiration. And the honesty u bring to life. My Captain forever and more. Love u.”

SRK and Gautam Gambhir share quite a bond and have often expressed their admiration for one another.
For the unversed, Gautam Gambhir returned to KKR earlier this year as a mentor and the franchise won the IPL title for the third time. After winning the IPL, Gautam Gambhir was then appointed as the head coach of India senior men’s team.
Shah Rukh Khan also responded to birthday wishes of Kamal Haasan and Tiger Shroff. While responding to the 'Indian' star, SRK wrote, “Thank you @ikamalhaasan sir. This was very sweet and graceful as always. Looking forward to your next for inspiration. Best wishes and hugs…love u sir.”
On the other hand, while replying to Tiger Shroff, King Khan said, “Thank you Tiger for the wishes. Lots of love. Working on my abs too, might reach out to you for some advice. Ha ha!!”

During a meet-and-greet event with his fans to celebrate his 59th birthday, SRK revealed that he had quit smoking.
Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK will next lend his voice to the Hindi version of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King', slated for release in Indian theatres on December 20.
SRK will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's 'King', alongside Suhana Khan. The film will reportedly also star Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The film is being jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.
SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The superstar had delivered three hits in 2023 in the form of 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'.
'Pathaan' marked Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a gap of more than four years after his 2018 film ‘Zero’ tanked at the box office.
