Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon's Untitled Romantic Film Gets Postponed, To Now Release On This Date
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s next untitled romantic film, which was set to arrive in cinemas in December 2023, has gotten a new release date.
December 2023 is going to be an exciting month for Indian film enthusiasts with a string of big releases lined up including ‘Dunki’, ‘Salaar’, ‘Animal’, ‘Sam Bahadur’, ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘Yodha’. Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s untitled romantic film, which marks their first collaboration, was supposed to release on December 7, 2023. However, the upcoming film has been postponed and will now release next year. This decision might have been taken in light of the packed December release schedule. The romantic comedy is now scheduled to arrive in cinemas on February 9, 2024.
Maddock Films, the production company behind Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming Hindi movie, took to Instagram to announce the new release date.

Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram Stories and shared trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s Instagram post confirming the new release date of her upcoming film.
Before the December 7, 2023 release date, the film was slated to arrive in the theatres in October 2023. Apart from Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, the untitled romantic drama will also feature veteran stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.
Earlier, the makers had unveiled the first poster of the movie. In the poster, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's chemistry was the highlight. In the backdrop of a beautiful sunset and a beach, the actors can be seen sitting on a bike, holding each other close.
The movie is being produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Laxman Utekar. The untitled romantic film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. As per reports, the movie is expected to be a love story with a science-fiction twist.
Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Jio Cinema's 'Bloody Daddy'. The movie was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, last starred in 'Adipurush', which also featured Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, Prabhas and Sunny Singh.
