Shahid Kapoor Looks Fierce As A Cop In First Look From 'Deva', Release Date Revealed
Shahid Kapoor, who made his OTT debut in 2023 with ‘Farzi’, has announced the release date of his upcoming film 'Deva'.
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who has proved his acting mettle with movies like ‘Haider’, ‘Kaminey’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Kabir Singh’, has shared the first look from his upcoming film titled 'Deva'. The 'Farzi' actor took to Instagram to unveil his fierce look as a cop in 'Deva', and he also revealed that the movie will be releasing in theatres on Dussehra 2024. In the first look shared by Shahid Kapoor, the actor can be seen wearing a white shirt with khaki pants, and sleek black sunglasses.
In the first look, Shahid Kapoor can also be seen carrying a gun in his hands.

For the unversed, 'Deva' is being directed by Rosshan Andrrews, who is known for his work on Malayalam blockbusters like 'Salute and 'Kayamkulam Kochunni'.
Apart from Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde also stars in the film. 'Deva' is being bankrolled by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.

As per the makers of 'Deva', the film will delve into the world of a rebellious police officer and how he embarks on a high-profile case.
Talking about Shahid Kapoor, he was last seen in Jio Cinema's 'Bloody Daddy'. The movie was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
This year, Shahid Kapoor also made his OTT debut with the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Farzi’. The Raj & DK series, also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon and Raashii Khanna, became a massive hit upon its release.
He will next be seen in an untitled romantic film, co-starring Kriti Sanon. The romantic comedy, which will mark Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s first collaboration, is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on February 9, 2024.
