Actress Esha Deol, who is the daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra, recently praised Kangana Ranaut for her acting chops.
Actress Esha Deol, who is the daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra, recently praised Kangana Ranaut for her acting chops, and she also disagreed with an interviewer who said that Kangana Ranaut is more popular because of her social media antics than her movies. For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut has made a reputation for herself for calling spade a spade and she also often gives her unfiltered opinion on raging political topics.
In the latest entertainment news, Esha Deol recently showcased a glimpse of her Mumbai bungalow during an interview with Bollywood Bubble and it was then that she played a game with the interviewer where she could ask three questions to him.
When Esha Deol asked: "Which actress, from this generation, do you feel should honestly take up some other profession," the interviewer replied that Kangana Ranaut should become a politician since her "tweets are major point of conversation."
Esha Deol then disagreed and said: "She is a fantastic actor. I loved her in Thalaivi. Even my mom, being an actor, is in politics, so what? I don’t agree. I think she’s doing a great job.”
Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivii' had released in theatres in 2021 and it is currently streaming on Netflix.
The film is based on the life of former actress and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
Kangana Ranaut had recently given her take on the ongoing debate around the speculated name change of India to Bharat.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is looking forward to the release of her upcoming Taamil film 'Chandramukhi 2'. The movie is a sequel to the 2005 blockbuster 'Chandramukhi'.
In 2023, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen in 'Tejas' and 'Emergency'.
