But now, the filmmaker has stepped in to put all the rumours to rest. While he didn’t name Shraddha Kapoor directly, he urged fans not to fall for unfounded rumours or industry gossip, leaving everyone guessing about what’s really going on behind the scenes.
“Please don’t believe any of the rumours currently floating all over the media. We’ll be making an official announcement at the right time. Thank you,” he wrote in a statement shared on Instagram.

For the unversed, Shraddha Kapoor is rumoured to be a part of a thriller helmed by 'Tumbbad' director Rahi Anil Barve and produced by Ektaa Kapoor.
On Monday, several reports surfaced online claiming that the actress has left the project due to a fee issue.
As per the report in Peeping Moon, Shraddha Kapoor allegedly demanded Rs 17 crore plus a share of the film’s profits. However, as the per the report, the makers felt the amount was too high, leading to Shraddha walking out of the project.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in the horror-comedy film ‘Stree 2’, which became a massive box-office success, grossing over Rs 800 crore worldwide.
Up next, she is set to star in ‘Nagin’, a supernatural fantasy drama produced by Nikhil Dwivedi. On Makar Sankranti, the producer shared a glimpse of the script, titled ‘Nagin: An Epic Tale of Love and Sacrifice’, hinting that the film is set to go on floors soon.
