Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23 in the presence of their family members and close friends.
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend and actor Zaheer Iqbal. The two got married in an intimate ceremony on June 23 in the presence of their loved ones. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal recently stepped out together, and set major couple goals. Sonakshi Sina took to her Instagram Stories and shared a video of her doting husband carrying her heels as they walked together. Sharing the video, she called him the “greenest flag ever”.
Hindustan Times re-shared the video on Instagram. The video started with Sonakshi Sinha walking barefoot inside what looked like a shopping mall. Zaheer Iqbal can be seen walking ahead of her and carrying her heels in his hand.
Sonakshi Sina posted the clip with King's hit track ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ as the background song. In the video, Zaheer Iqbal smiled and turned around as he walked.
Zaheer Iqbal was seen in a grey shirt, black trousers and shoes. Sonakshi Sinha wore a beige outfit.
For the unversed, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s civil ceremony was followed by a wedding reception at Bastian, which saw numerous Bollywood celebrities in attendance. The wedding reception was attended by Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, and Rekha, among others.
The celebrity couple recently shared glimpses of their wedding on Instagram. Sonakshi expressing her joy in a heartfelt post, wrote, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife. The celebrity couple wore ivory outfits for the wedding, with Sonakshi Sinha later switching into a gold and red-hued saree, and Zaheer opting for a white kurta with red underlay.
