Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal made their first public appearance as they stepped out for dinner with close friends and family.
Newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been making headlines for a while now. On June 23, the much-in-love couple got married in the presence of their family members and close friends. They also held a reception that evening, which was attended by several Bollywood stars. Now, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have made their first public appearance after marriage, as they stepped out for a dinner date with close friends, family and relatives. For the dinner outing on Wednesday night, both Sonakshi and Zaheer chose a restaurant in Mumbai.

Continuing the colour coordination from their ceremony on Sunday, Sonakshi Sinha was seen in red outfit, while Zaheer Iqbal wore a white shirt.
Sonakshi Sinha looked stunning in a red silk dress, which she paired with heels and shimmery white clutch bag. Meanwhile, Zaheer Iqbal opted for a white shirt with black leaf motifs printed on it.
They briefly interacted with the paparazzi, posed for the cameras and headed inside to meet their family and friends. In the video, Zaheer Iqbal can be seen touching the feet of a guest as he greeted them.
Inside pictures from the dinner shared by Anu Ranjan showed that Sonakshi Sinha’s mother, Poonam Sinha, was there at the dinner along with actress Poonam Dhillon and Huma Qureshi, among others.
For the unversed, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married in a civil ceremony on Sunday. They shared beautiful pictures from their intimate ceremony after the wedding on Instagram. However, after receiving a lot of hate messages in the comments section, they turned off the comments on their posts.
Responding to the hate Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal received, her actor-father Shatrughan Sinha had told Times Now, “My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional.”
He added, “A wedding is a very personal decision between two people; no one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say – go, get a life. Do something useful with your life. Aur kuch nahi kehna.”
The celebrity couple wore ivory outfits for the wedding, with Sonakshi Sinha later switching into a gold and red-hued saree, and Zaheer opting for a white kurta with red underlay.
