Sonam Kapoor Pens Heartfelt Note For Husband Anand Ahuja On Wedding Anniversary, Son Vayu Makes Special Appearance
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, who tied the knot in 2018 after several years of dating, are celebrating their wedding anniversary today.
Sonam Kapoor, who is often hailed as the ‘fashionista’ of B-town, fell in love with businessman Anand Ahuja. And their love story was nothing short of a fairytale. The couple tied the knot in 2018 after dating for several years. And today, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary. On their special day, Sonam Kapoor took to social media to share a heartfelt note dedicated to the “love of her life”. Sharing a collection of never-before-seen photos and videos, Sonam Kapoor expressed her gratitude and love for the life they have built together.
The Bollywood actress also went on to call her marriage the “best decision” she’s ever made.
“To the love of my life. My everything , Happy Anniversary. Your unconditional love and support is my anchor and safe place. Getting married to you was the best decision of my life. We live in heaven. I love you more than I can express. #everydayphenomenal,” the caption of the post read.

In a previous interview with Filmfare, Sonam Kapoor revealed that she initially had no interest in marriage or relationships.
“My friends were trying to set me up with Anand’s best friend. That’s how I met him. The first time I met Anand was while I was busy with the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). One evening my friends conned me into visiting a bar at the Taj. I went there quite irritated,” she said.
Sonam Kapoor also shared that she had no interest in meeting Anand Ahuja and his friends as she was not open to the idea of dating.
“I remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to date anybody. I don’t believe in marriage and all this nonsense.’ But then I saw Anand and his friend. His friend was tall like me, enjoyed reading, and loved Hindi movies. He was educated and nice, but it was Anand who I found myself talking to the whole night,” she shared.
Sonam Kapoor married her beau Anand Ahuja in a dreamy ceremony in Mumbai in 2018. Sonam and Anand, along with their son Vayu, live in a swanky apartment at Notting Hill, London.
