Sonam Kapoor To Make OTT Debut With ‘Blind’. Here’s When And Where You Can Watch It

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is all set to make her comeback to films after a long hiatus. Following the arrival of her and Anand Ahuja’s baby boy Vayu, last year, the Bollywood actress was on a break. She will now be making her comeback with the crime thriller ‘Blind’. What’s even more exciting? The new Hindi movie will not be her comeback project, but will also mark her OTT debut. While it was initially planned as a theatrical release, the film will now premiere on Jio Cinema on July 7.
Jio Studios took to their official Instagram page and made the announcement regarding the release of Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Blind’. “Sometimes it’s hard to ‘see’ the truth. Are you ready to enter the darkness of her world? Watch #BlindOnJioCinema, streaming free 7 July onwards,” the post read.
Along with sharing the release date, the first-look poster featuring Sonam Kapoor was dropped on Monday.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja will be starring as the lead in ‘Blind’, alongside an ensemble cast including Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf.
The film is helmed by Shome Makhija, who had earlier served as an assistant director in the 2019 Bollywood film ‘Badla’ starring Taapsee Pannu.
Jio Cinema has joined hands with RV Motion Pictures and Lead Films to present the new Hindi movie. The new Hindi movie, which is a remake of a Korean film, will revolve around a blind police officer who is on the hunt for a serial killer.
Talking about Sonam Kapoor, she was last seen in the 2019 film ‘The Zoya Factor’ opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
The Bollywood actress also made a special appearance in the 2020 film ‘AK vs AK’, starring Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap.
‘Blind’ will mark Jio Cinema’s second direct-to-digital collaboration with a big star, following Shahid Kapoor's ‘Bloody Daddy’.
