Unwell SRK Meets Disabled Fan, Juhi Chawla Reveals Whether He Will Attend IPL 2024 Final

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's fans were left worried when news surfaced that the ‘Jawan’ star was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke. For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan attended the IPL 2024 Qualifier 1 match between his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and SunRisers Hyderabad. A day after the game, it surfaced that SRK had to be admitted to a hospital due to a heat stroke. Shah Rukh Khan's close friend and actress Juhi Chawla has confirmed that the Bollywood star is now feeling better.

“Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” Juhi Chawla told News18.

Amid this news, Shah Rukh Khan was seen meeting a disabled fan and posing for pictures with him. A video of the same has been shared by one of the actor’s fan pages on X (formerly Twitter).

For the unversed, SRK attended the Qualifier 1 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium along with his kids Suhana and AbRam and his manager Pooja Dadlani.

On Wednesday evening, Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta were clicked leaving KD hospital in their blue-coloured sedan. SRK's wife Gauri Khan was also seen arriving at the KD Hospital on Wednesday.

For the unversed, the friendship between Juhi and SRK dates back to the early 90s. The duo has worked in several movies like ‘Darr’, ‘Yess Boss’, ‘Duplicate’ and ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’.

On Tuesday, KKR defeated SRH by eight wickets to qualify for the final of the ongoing IPL 2024.

“It’s such a good feeling! We are all so happy, so thrilled, proud and so thankful of the team… they have played consistently well throughout the tournament and reached the finals. Every year, we wish and hope for this exhilarating moment and today, it is actually here – the prestigious trophy is just one game away,” Juhi Chawla said.

“IPL is such a tough tournament with the best of the best cricketers from across the world playing and competing. Their skills, stamina, strength are tested to the extreme,” she added.

Coming back to SRK, the actor is currently gearing up for his next release ‘King’, which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan.

The film, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is slated to be released in theatres in the second half of 2025.
