Hansika Motwani has finally reacted to the reports, claiming that the actress faced the problem of casting couch in the film industry.
Actress Hansika Motwani has rubbished the reports, claiming that the actress was a victim of casting couch in the film industry. Taking to Twitter, Hansika Motwani shared a screenshot of a news report and said: "Have not given this quote ever! Stop printing rubbish." This clarification came after many publications came out with reports claiming that the actress had faced casting couch. Although there was no mention of any actor in the reports, but it quoted Hansika saying that she taught the actor a "lesson."
The actress was last seen in her wedding series 'Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama' on Disney+ Hotstar.
While talking about the show in an interview with The Indian Express, Hansika said: "I have perpetually grown up in front of the audience. They have seen my journey and have been part of my life since I was eight. When I decided to be a bride I wanted them to witness it."
"And what better way than joining hands with Hotstar? It was just a way to invite them to my big day.” She added, “Let them keep talking. It doesn’t matter to me. It’s really okay. I know it’s coming from my heart and it’s legit reality," she added.
In one of the episodes of the show, Hansika and her mother had also addressed the accusations of the actress being given growth hormone injections as a young child.
“People said that my mum has given me injections, hormonal injections to grow up as a woman. This is the expense of being a celebrity. They wrote such crap when I was 21, you know what I am talking about… If I could have taken it that time, I can take it this time," Hansika had said on the show.
