'Swades' Actress Gayatri Joshi, Husband Vikas Escape Multi Car Collision In Italy, Swiss Couple Killed
Actress Gayatri was with her husband Vikas Oberoi in Italy when a horrific collision involving multiple cars took place.
Actress Gayatri Joshi, who is known for her role in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Swades', was recently involved in an accident in Italy when she was travelling with her husband Vikas Oberoi. As per several reports, the couple's car rammed into several other vehicles and a camper van. As per The Indian Express, the couple's car collided with other cars when a Lamborghini and a Ferrari were trying to overtake a camper van.
The incident happened on a narrow road in Sardinia. The chain of events led to one of the cars hitting the camper van, causing it to overturn.
After the collision, the Ferrari caught fire, leading to the death of a Swiss couple travelling in it, reported The Indian Express.
“Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here (multiple-car collision).. With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine," Gayatri told Free Press Journal.

For the unversed, Gayatri Joshi had made her Bollywood debut with SRK's 'Swades'. However, the actress did not star in any movie after that.
After 'Swades', the actress tied the knot with Vikas Oberoi, who is the Chairman and Managing Director of Oberoi Realty Ltd.
However, Gayatri Joshi is often spotted with Sonali Bendre and Sussanne Khan at big Bollywood parties.
'Swades' is directed and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker. Apart from SRK and Gayatri Joshi, the film also stars Kishori Ballal, Daya Shankar Pandey, Rajesh Vivek, Lekh Tandon appear in supporting roles.
